Managing Director – China Mr Chan Siu Hung meets with Mr Chen Gang, Chairman of the CPPCC Guangxi Committee and Guangxi Federation of Trade Unions
On 12 December 2019, Managing Director - China of CLP Holdings Limited Mr Chan Siu Hung visited Mr Chen Gang, Chairman of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) Guangxi Committee and Guangxi Federation of Trade Unions, and Mr Zhang Hai, Deputy Mayor of Fangchenggang. The two parties discussed the related matters on Fangchenggang Power Station.

On 22 November 2019, Managing Director - China of CLP Holdings Limited Mr Chan Siu Hung joined the “International Seminar on China’s Zero-carbon Energy Transition & China 2050: A Fully Developed Zero-carbon Modern Economy” hosted by the Energy Transitions Commission (ETC) in Beijing, and also attended the high-level talk on “Perspectives and actions for China’s zero-carbon future: supply side energy transition”.

Managing Director – China Mr Chan Siu Hung attends the WANO Biennial Conference 2019 in London
On 20-22 October 2019, the Biennial Conference 2019 of the World Association of Nuclear Operators (WANO) was held in London. More than 500 senior managers and young leaders in the nuclear power industry from over 30 countries and regions were present at the event.

On 30 September to 2 October 2019, The Honourable Sir Michael Kadoorie, Chairman of CLP Holdings Limited, as a member of the Hong Kong delegation, attended the celebrations for the 70th Anniversary of the Founding of The People’s Republic of China in Beijing.

As required by Managing Director - China of CLP Holdings Limited Mr Chan Siu Hung and through efforts of RHO, the Hong Kong and Macao Affairs of the State Council specially invited CLP Group Director Mr Philip Kadoorie to attend the National Day Reception Celebrating the 70th Founding Anniversary of PRC, and the invitation letter was signed by President Xi Jinping.

CSG and CLP hold Agreement Signing Ceremony for Cooperation on EV Charging Service
On 18 September 2019,falicitated by RHO Guangdong Branch, the Agreement Signing Ceremony for Cooperation on EV Charging Service Between CSG and CLP was held in the office building of China Southern Power Grid (CSG), in the presence of Mr Bi Yaxiong, Deputy General Manager of CSG, and Managing Director - China of CLP Holdings Limited Mr Chan Siu Hung. The two parties also made an in-depth discussion, expecting to grasp the opportunities brought by the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and the Belt and Road Initiative, cement and deepen cooperation in all fields, and explore new cooperation opportunities.

On 10 September 2019, RHO invited Mr Qian Zhimin, Chairman of the State Power Investment Corporation Limited (SPIC), to visit CLP and meet with Managing Director - China of CLP Holdings Limited Mr Chan Siu Hung. Both parties made a in-depth exchange on such topics as global energy transition, clean energy development and the development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
